Christmas Bucket List

I thought it would be fun to put together a little Christmas in the Charlotte bucket list. Normally I wouldn't do this until after Thanksgiving but so many of these events start before Christmas. This list is not complete at all! Please let me know if you have any fun activities your family does around Charlotte at Christmas time.

Turkey Trot 5K
Founders Hall Bearstein Bear Orchestra
SouthPark pictures with Santa
WBT Holiday on Ice Skating Rink
Singing Christmas Tree
Fourth Ward Holiday Home Tour (GNO!)
Boyd Mountain Christmas Tree Farm (seriously the BEST place to go cut down your tree. Make stop at the yummy Asheville restaurants on your way home!)

    We don't get a real tree yet. I don't plan to do that until she can remember but I can't wait! Did 4th Ward last year and I was disappointed. I think the Magic of Christmas is so much better than the Singing Tree but I don't think Shelby is old enough for any of that yet. :( Bears are MUST!

      I haven't been to the 4th ward tour in a while. Good to know. I may mark that one off. Where is Magic of Christmas? I've never heard of that.

    Have you ever been to McAdenville for "Christmastown, USA"? We were thinking of going to that this year!

    Also, the Founders Hall bears are a littttle creepy, but I bet the twins would love it! They're kind of hysterical to watch

      I've been to McAdenville several times and the best was in a limo with friends where we could party and enjoy the lights. Sitting in the car gets a little boring. I'm sure we'll take the kids again when they are a little older.

      I agree on the creepy bears but the twins loved them last year and I'm sure they'll like them more this year (or be terrified of them!)
