Baby #3 Week 22

Poor 3rd child. He doesn't even get a 20 or 21 week bump update! Oh well, I'm doing the best I can! I'm way behind on blogging but that matches the craziness of life. Cheerleading JUST ended with a huge weekend in Gatlinburg, TN and I am in full on Christmas mode now!

My mind has been all over the place and sometimes I even forget I am pregnant. Everyone always asks me how my pregnancy is going and I have no complaints at all. Knock on wood, being pregnant with just one is a piece of cake! Shep seems like an easy going baby and gives me a few kicks every now and then to remind me he's here but nothing too crazy. I'm hoping this means he'll be a laid back baby and go with the flow of his crazy sister and brother!

I've been thinking a lot about his nursery this week and am so thankful for my friend Seantel's decorating advice! I ordered a rug for Shep's room during a huge black Friday sale at Rugs USA. Its a super soft white cable rug and I'm hoping he'll love laying on it! I'm working on some other nursery projects and plan to put forth a lot of effort after Christmas. I'm making my list and collecting gear for Shep too. A neighbor friend passed down their space saver high chair so now we've got three and shep can join us at the table for meals.

Pregnancy Highlights:
Today's Date: Friday, December 13th 2013
How Far Along: 22 weeks
Size of baby: Babies is the size of a papaya.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Up 6 pounds. Exact same a last time! My appetite has returned full force during the day but I am NOT hungry at all at night.
Maternity Clothes: Yes on pants. Tops go back and forth. A lot of my larger non maternity tops still fit.
Gender: Boy- Arthur Shepherd Carroll
Movement: Yup. Shep is head down and I feel little kicks and punches throughout the day. Jay is able to feel them too. This is my FAVORITE part of being pregnant!
What I miss: Holiday Cocktails!
Cravings: not a ton but if I had to say it would be potato chips and ice cream
Symptoms: Heartburn is back in the evenings and my breasts are ginormous again. I had to break out the XL bras this week! Here's hoping that I'll be able to nurse as easily as I was last time!
Best Moment this week: Jay finishing his finals for class and earning amazing grades (107 average!- Had to brag!) and being able to spend our nights as a family again. We had a blast bathing emma cate and holden in the big tub and I think they enjoyed it too!
