We wish you a Merry Christmas!

I just realized I had not posted about our Christmas yet! I left you all hanging at Christmas Eve. I'm sure you were hanging on to the edge of your seat.

I absolutely LOVE Christmas morning with my family. We wake up early and sort presents until the rest of the family wakes up. Once everyone is awake we dive into our stockings. Our stocking stuffers are the only things that aren't wrapped. Santa bring us some pretty good stockings but we all love to add little funny things to each others stocking. After stockings we begin the present process. All presents are wrapped and mixed together (santa, immediate family, extended family). We start with the youngest person and open presents one by one in that order. Yes, it takes around 3 hours to open all of our presents. We stop in the middle for my mom's breakfast casserole and we keep the mimosas flowing! I love this family tradition and although some complain that it takes too long I think its the perfect way to see everyone's gifts and ensure proper thanks to the giver.

This year we started opening presents a little later and the twins ended up sleeping through most of the Christmas! They did wake up for the end and we had fun playing with their new toys!

We skip lunch on Christmas day in lieu of an all day snack fest of yummy summer sausage, cheese plate, chocolates, cookies, and snack dips.

Christmas dinner is usually eaten in our pjs. We always have prime rib or beef tenderloin and lots of yummy sides.

Here goes the pictures!

We waited around in the morning for our aunts to wake up!
