Paternity Leave Part 3

Now that we are a few weeks out and Shep is starting to sleep longer, I almost (not really though) miss late night feedings. It is so peaceful and calm and Shep is so sweet. Of course I had to take pictures to document!

love this shot!

Jay and I had another morning breakfast date. No ticket this time!

Yet another egg hunt! This time at Emma Cate's other preschool. She is pretty good at egg hunting. The only problem is that she likes to eat as she goes.

The now have the habit of sitting on the front porch and saying cheese whenever we go out.

This girl LOVES pimento cheese. We actually made it out to dinner at Tupelo Honey and she dives into the bowl.

this one NEVER smiles for the camera but I just LOVE capturing the joy on his face!

Any my third. love.

And we finally hit Friday. I was crazy and signed these babies up for swim lessons that started the Monday after I had Shep. I knew that Jay would be home that first week to help me but I didn't think about what a pain they would be after that! The kids do Infant Swim Rescue classes. Basically they learn how to "survival" swim. They have done a great job but I am by no means comfortable throwing them into a pool and letting them go. I think these lessons just buy a little more time for someone to get to them if they were to ever fall in the water by accident. These lessons are 10 minutes each child, monday-friday for 4 weeks. The pool they used to take them in was a mile from our house which made it ok but the pool they are at now is a good 25 minutes away. This make arranging naps super fun!

passed out after lessons

toes to nose. This girl is a goof!

what is it about dog and baby pictures that is so cute!
