We had a crazy busy Valentine's day and after our hectic days, enjoyed catching up with each other over dinner. Jay made my favorite pasta with caramelized green beans and a spinach salad. Shockingly, Jay forgot to get me a card this year. He is always SO on top of getting cards and I'm usually the slacker. He did get me some pretty flowers though :) A huge box arrived on our porch on Valentine's Day afternoon and I made a bit of a spectical explaining to Jay that my Valentine's gift to him had arrived just in time. He looked at me like a sad puppy and protested that we both decided we weren't doing gifts for each other this year. He opened the box to find all our of monogrammed tote bags to take to the hospital and was as excited as a boy can get over monogrammed things. I never did let him know that I had ordered them on a whim a week before just because I wanted them and they had coincidentally arrived on Valentine's day. ha! Here are a few pictures of the evening.
Roses- I also just realized this green ring around the bottom is due to me being cheap and not buying a new case for my iphone 4s and instead keeping it in my old 3g case. Guess the lens cutout is not the same size!
Holden's bag will be arriving in May. Hopefully before he does!

I don't know why I look like I'm 9 months pregnant in this picture. Jay said it was the shirt. I blame it on copious amounts of pasta.
