Emma Cate
*Repeats EVERYTHING when prompted. Favorite words are dodgie, gee gee (gigi), apple, nana, dada, mama, bo, geen (green), holdy, no, and mease (please)
*Can be an angry little booger! When things don't go your way you are quick to throw, hit, scream, and throw an all out tantrum on the floor complete with head thrashing, arms swinging, and feet stomping. You usually calm down with a new activity but sometimes we have to hold you really tight and give you a long kiss on the forehead before you calm down. You DEFINITELY have mommy's temper!
*Can also be the sweetest, cutest, thing ever. You love to sit in our laps to read and constantly bring us books. Your favorites are hungry caterpillar, sheep in a jeep, hello twins, and peek-a-who.
*Loves when the dogs play and chase each other around. You squeal!
*You LOVE brushing your teeth and will point to the toothbrush on the counter and scream teef!
*You are a little organizer. Your favorite activity is sorting anything you can find and moving things from one container to another. You sorted green beans while I was snapping them for 10 minutes last night.
*In the past few days you've let me put a bow-bow in and I LOVE it!
*You love to dump things. Pots, pans, bowls, you name and you'll dump it. You are such the little boy. I tried to let you snap beans with me but you got too excited and dumped the entire colander and then began to throw them at me. You've got a lot of energy buddy!
Holden
*Starting to repeat more words and are saying words on your own. You still love to say "whadis" but have also added mama, dada, tay-tay, bo, and boo.
*You love to open and shut doors. The other day you went into the hall bath and shut the door behind you. You kept opening the door and shouting BOO and then closing it in a fit of giggles. Emma Cate thought this was absolutely hilarious.
*Your table manners are rough but getting much better since we've started eating dinner and breakfast together as a family. When you're done you throw everything off your tray. This is a huge mess and something we are working REALLY hard on. If anyone has any advice we'd love to hear it!
*You give the BEST kisses. You don't kiss with your lips but with your forehead instead in more of a head-butt motion.
*You love to play cars. You have sweet little wind-up Mercedes slk500 that we affectionately call your "benz". This is your favorite car and you love rolling it back and forth with mommy and daddy.
*You love to RUN and watching you is so adorable. You run everywhere!
*You LOVE to dance!
Twin Stuff
*You have started fighting and I mean FIGHTING! Emma Cate is super possessive and if Holden even comes near she throws a fit and starts to hit him. The other day Holden tried to bite back and I had to hold you both apart while screaming NO. I had no clue what to do!
*Holden has learned to annoy Emma Cate. She had a bike the other day and he kept putting his hand on it just to make her scream and stomp her feet. He died laughing while he did this. (I'm going to have my hands full with these two!)
*You are both also very sweet to each other. Yesterday Gigi found you in your cribs at her house standing up holding both hands and chatting instead of napping.
*You love to play hide and seek behind the armoire in your room before nap time. Your giggles are so entertaining!
*You also love to say BOO to each other. You both die laughing.
*Chase is a favorite game. Up and down the hall, around the kitchen table, you both love to chase and be chased.
*You have little conversations in a made-up language with each other. We can't understand what you're saying but you both have the biggest smiles!
